Why should we communicate with animals?

geese-sunsetWhen we reach out to another living being, we irrevocably change both our vibration and theirs. The following words came to me via an email from a mailing list.

In the words of Rhonda Byrne, Creator of The Secret:”Every good thought, every good word, every good emotion, and every act of kindness, is lifting the vibration of your being to new heights.  And as you begin to raise your vibration, a new life and a new world will reveal itself to you… The positive vibration of your energy emanates out like a stone thrown into water, touching our planet and every living thing on it. As you rise higher, you take the world with you.”

We should communicate with animals to try and understand them more. Just like a baby – in a way. We learn to try and understand their cries and frustrations by communication.
You can often tell something is wrong with a baby when it cries. You can almost find out what’s the matter with your animal by listening to them communicate with you(ex, a dog barking, a cat meowing etc)
I learned this and more from a book called Wagging Tales by Tim Link. Super interesting book and full of amazing stories.
Also – i have to share the best part – he donates a portion of sales to various animal rescue associations.

Thanks Chrissy. There are so many reasons to communicate with animals. And the beauty is that the more we communicate the more we realise how much we need to know! I think animals are our greatest teachers, the most honest and pure spirits you will encounter, free of any agendas. What a wonderful gift to the world!
