An exciting part of Lucy’s career is that of running workshops in healing for animals, and healing for people wishing to learn from the wisdom of animals. 2010 Workshops:
Animal Communication. Saturday, August 21, Alderley, $150
Have you ever wanted to be able to communicate with animals? Everyone can do it. It just takes some guidance, a framework and practice. Come along for a day full of different methods to communicate with animals, so you can find the way that works best for you. 
Reiki I and Animal Reiki I. Augutst 28-29, Alderley, $200
This is the Level I course for people wishing to be initiated in the Usui system of natural healing (Reiki). Learn to heal yourself and others. Your course includes morning and afternoon tea and comprehensive take-home manuals. The first day concentrates on teaching the foundation course of Reiki, while the second day concentrates on applying those techniques to animals. Animal volunteers provided! 
Seven Animals, Seven Chakras. September 12, Sunshine Coast (specific location TBA)
We spend a lot of time learning how to heal animals, but how can animals heal you?
How can people learn and heal from animals? Certain animals embody the essence of each of the seven major body chakras. In this unique course, Lucy helps you to connect with your chakras (the major energy systems of the body) and the animals that embody those same properties to facilitate your own healing. You’ll get to take home a comprehensive book with this all new information and experience healing rituals and activities.
Aromatherapy for People and Animals. September 26, $150, Alderley
Is aromatherapy about smelling oils? How do you tell a good quality oil? What methods of application exist for people and animals? There is a tremendous amount to learn about essential oils and their applications. Join us for a workshop that provides you with fundamental skills in aromatherapy, practical applications, and a wonderful day of being surrounded by blissful aromas!
Reiki II and Animal Reiki II. October 2-3, Alderley, $300
In Reiki I, you learned how to apply hands-on healing to yourself and others. In this level, you learn how to send healing through time and space, so that you can heal others no matter where they are in the world. You’ll also learn about the sacred Reiki symbols and how to use them. The first day concentrates on the techniques of Reiki II, while the second day furthers your abilities to apply this to animal and world healing situations, as well as deeper healing techniques for yourself. We like to run this course as close as possible to World Animal Day, October 4.
Morning and afternoon tea provided. Please bring a plate of vegetarian food to share for lunch.
Animal Massage. November 14, Enoggera Memorial Hall, $150
The Animal Massage course is designed to provide participants with a working knowledge of massage techniques to assist in the holistic care of animals and enhance their overall wellbeing. The course covers: benefits of massage; safety principles; basic musculoskeletal anatomy; massage techniques; principles of a good massage; hands-on practise (on humans and animals).
Lucy runs workshops in conjunction with Eileen McLean of Natural Animal Care. Our workshops are located in the Brisbane area and we welcome offers to host courses in locations outside of this area.
